Sunday morning came around far too quickly. Normally you have to be off site at 11am but we asked to extend our stay by a few hours so we could have another walk into Padstow. It was bitterly cold but we enjoyed our wander down to the harbour and through the little back streets.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend with our friends and will definitely return to the campsite (it's handy that it's only an hour from home and open all year too!).
We now have just over 3 weeks to wait until our next trip, when we head to Cheddar for our annual Easter break.

Padstow - Spring 2013 - Back to the Campsite
After lunch we headed back to the campsite along the footpath. The sun had decided to finally make an appearnance and what a difference it made. We spent the rest of Saturday on the campsite.
Padstow - Spring 2013 - Coast Path to Padstow Harbour
From the beach we scrambled back up onto the coastal path and walked into Padstow for a wander around the harbour.
Michael & I chose to have fish and chuips for our lunch while our friends opted for pasties and feeding the birds!!! This little robin was enjoying being fed with saffron buns while the oyster catcher picked for food along the water line.
Padstow - Spring 2013 - Down on the Beach
Once through the farmland and fields we were on the beach and it was almost deserted. The sand was golden and there were shells everywhere. The cliffs and rocks are stunning in that area and we founds lots of caves and hiding places!!!
The views across to Daymer Bay and Rock were wonderful too. It really is a lovely part of Cornwall, especially out of season and when it's quiet.
