Our friend visited us on site on the Friday before we all headed into town for a late lunch. I didn't take my camera with me that day!!!
On Saturday morning we were up at 6:30am and left the site before many of the campers had even stirred. We visited the motorhome show at Shepton Mallet on the way home. Once again, we saw some lovely new motorhomes but nothing as nice as what we currently have so we decided not to change her in.
That was the last of our booked (and long) trips for 2010. Our next booked trip is Christmas in St Ives but I'm sure we'll be away in the camper between now and then - watch this space!

Cirencester - September 2010 - Thursday afternoon
We then wandered into the town where I took photos of the magnificent church right in the centre of the town.
Cirencester - September 2010 - Thursday morning
On Thursday morning we were once again packing up and moving on. This time the journey was just a short drive south to Cirencester, where we stayed on the Caravan Club site at Cirencester Park. We pitched up and walked into town to meet up with a friend of ours from Bury St Edmunds who was staying in Cirencester at the same time as us!
We walked around the Abbey Grounds and Lake. The trees were changing colour already and looked beautiful in the sunshine.

Bourton-on-the-Water - September 2010 - Wednesday
On Wednesday we caught the bus from Moreton into the pretty little village of Bourton-on-the-Water where we spent the whole day. We met up with friends from Oxfordshire for lunch sat outside in the sunshine and then just strolled around or sat down people watching!
Moreton-In-Marsh - September 2010 - Tuesday afternoon
After a short journey from Stratford to Moreton we pitched up on the Caravan Club site just outside the pretty Cotswold town and after a quick lunch we wandered into town to browse around the famous weekly market. At one point it looked as if the heavens would open but we were lucky. Later that evening we went into town again to sample the local pubs, most of them being doggie friendly. We ended up in the Bear Inn for the evening (run by an ex-Southampton FC footballer - Jim Steele) where we had a meal and watched some of the football in the bar.
Stratford-Upon- Avon - September 2010 - Tuesday morning
We awoke to lovely sunshine on Tuesday morning, another packing up day. We managed to have a wander around the campsite before we headed off to our next site in Moreton-in-Marsh.
Stratford-Upon-Avon - September 2010 - Monday afternoon
After another wander around the town we headed over to the canal basin where we watched the barges entering and leaving the lock. We then found a lovely riverside tea garden where we sat and had a brew in the sunshine before heading back to the campsite on the river taxi (provided by the campsite at a bargain £1.50 per person and Paddy 'sailed' free of charge!).
Stratford-Upon-Avon - September 2010 - Monday morning
We were up early on Monday morning and had breakfast in the cafe on the campsite (what a bargain - 99p for 4 items or £1.98 for 8!!!), it set us up for the rest of the day!
After breakfast we walked into Stratford again via the village route this time and then walked along the river and across into town via the RSC theatre.
