Lydford CC site

Just 45 minutes after leaving home late Friday morning we were pitched up on site at the Caravan Club affiliated site in Lydford, on the edge of Dartmoor.  We had travelled in the dry but the clouds were very threatening to say the least!!!

We spent most of the afternoon testing out the gadgets in Daisy, including the heating system that came in very handy due to us experiencing particularly chilly June weather!

The site has a brilliant dog walk and the views of the surrounding Dartmoor countryside are stunning, so we took advantage of a dry half hour to walk Paddy. 

Later that evening we walked to the village 'local' and spent a very pleasant couple of hours talking to fellow campers and enjoying a pint or two!
