Cheddar - Easter 2013 - On Site At Cheddar Bridge

With Easter being early this year, and the unseasonal weather most of us had been experiencing during the run up, we wondered what we would be blessed with during this trip.

We had pre-booked Cheddar Bridge (Adults Only) campsite last September so knew it would be pot luck!

We arrived on the Wednesday before Easter to light snow flurries and freezing temperatures but once that was over and done with we never saw another flake or rain drop for the whole of our Easter break!  In fact we woke to clear blue skies most mornings.

Some friends of ours from Poole, who have just restored a 1963 American Airstream caravan, had also booked Cheddar Bridge and some of our family were also staying on the site in a static so we had a very 'social' weekend.

These photos were taken on site over the Easter period.

Michael & I spent Wednesday evening in Cheddar village having a meal and a few drinks celebrating his birthday, which was the day before.  The whole of Thursday was spent at our motorhome dealer (local to Cheddar) having the annual service and habitation done on the camper.  Again, we spent the evening in Cheddar but with the company of my Auntie & Uncle that night!
