Dorset - September 2014 - Corfe and Rempstone
We couldn't believe our luck when we woke up on Wednesday....another beautiful sunny day so we decided to walk down into Corfe and up onto the ridgeway at Rempstone. It was hard-going getting to the top but well worth it for the stunning views back across Corfe village and the Dorset coastline both sides. We could see as far as Poole and Bournemouth and could clearly see Brownsea Island and Sandbanks.
After our walk we got back into Corfe at lunchtime so had a meal in the Bankes Arms, sat in the beer garden overlooking the steam train line! It was a hard walk back up the hill to the campsite with full bellies!!!
We spent that evening, our last at Corfe, on site sat outside with our friendly robin. We were also really lucky to spot the deer in the field behind our pitch.
