Having managed to sneak an early October break we also managed a late one too! Our neighbours, who now own an Elddis motorhome, wanted to explore a bit more of our beautiful county so we said we'd do a weekend with them on a small, quiet site we'd used before near Fowey.
We both arrived at a similar time in the afternoon and pitched up next to each other. After a quick brew we all wandered down to the local boatyard at the head of the estuary and found a little cabin/café where we enjoyed another brew, free entertainment from the café owner, and we made plans for our only full day there.
That evening we walked from the campsite down to the local pub in Bodinnick for our meal and a few pints. It was a steep walk on the way back and very, very dark (the stars were stunning!). Luckily we had torches!

Love the cosw and the swans, and those two red fishing boats make a lovely splash of colour :)
