Christmas In St Ives 2011

After having our best Christmas ever in 2009 at Ayr Holiday Park, St Ives and then an aborted trip down there in 2010, due to the harsh Winter, we decided to try again this year and thankfully it was successful, in fact very successful as it was the mildest Christmas for very many years! 

We both finished work on the 21st December, spent the 22nd cleaning and packing Daisy.....and sorting out a few minor problems with her (flat leisure battery, no fan/window demister in cab, etc., etc!).....Grrrrrr!!!!!

We left home in pretty heavy rain on Friday 22nd to travel down to St Ives and arrived mid afternoon to dry, but very windy weather.  We were only the third unit to arrive on site so had no other campers spoiling our wonderful view from our pitch!

We spent the afternoon decorating Daisy and generally getting into the festive spirit (Rattler cider!!).
