Somerset Saturday - Dunster & Allerford

After a hearty cooked breakfast in the pub we armed ourselves with our map books, put Paddy in the car and headed out for the day.

Our first stop was Minehead.  It was full of stags and hens (and I don't mean the animal variety!) and there was heavy police presence.  We decided not to hang around too long and travelled a few miles to the pretty village of Dunster, where we had a short walk.

We then had a drive onto Exmoor before heading back to Minehead to fill up with fuel.  Our next stop was a pretty little village called Allerford, just outside Minehead, where we found an old packhorse bridge.  By then the sun was out and it was glorious!
