Betws-y-Coed & Swallow Falls - September 2016

After another 2 lovely days in Chirk we were on the move again along the A5 and into the Snowdonian National Park.  We had booked a pitch for 2 nights at Riverside in Betws-y-Coed and lucky we had because it was packed and the site were turning people away!

After pitching up and having a bite to eat we walked into the village for a wander and it was packed here too with people enjoying the lovely warm sunshine.

That evening we had a lovely meal in a Welsh pub in the village.  The next morning we were up and about early as we wanted to walk to Swallow Falls from Betws-y-Coed.  It was pretty hard going but once you got there it was well worth it just to see and hear the full force of the water.  We sat and ate our picnic in the woods on the way back before enjoying a meal and a few pints sat outside another pub in the village that evening.
