Our first stop was Poole in Dorset, staying at South Lytchett Manor, where we had stayed many times before.
We arrived Friday lunchtime and spent the afternoon on site before meeting up with friends, who live locally, at the local pub for a very social evening!
Saturday morning the sun was shining so instead of catching the bus (which was my plan!) we walked into Poole via Upton Country Park and Holes Bay. It's a fair old walk but we stopped off for coffee in the country park and the views along the bay were stunning (we'd have missed all that on the bus!).
We arrived in Poole at lunchtime so headed straight for the pub!
