Our Christmas trip had seemed a long time coming. We'd not been able to get away in Bessy since September, due to Mike being hospitalised again (some kind of viral infection this time), and other commitments so it was a very welcome trip for us both.
We decided to sneak away a day earlier than we had planned/booked and headed down to Padstow for 1 night. We walked into town from the site, wandered around the harbour area and then spent the rest of the afternoon/early evening sampling some of the local ales and ciders.
