We passed Chirk Marina and went through the Whitehouse Tunnel - it was dark, dank and I can't say that I was a fan (and I knew I had to come back through it on our return journey!).
There were lots of barges on the canal, it being a bank holiday weekend, and many of them were 'dressed up' in union jacks to celebrate the jubilee.
