Wild Wales Tour 2012 - On The Road To Aberaeron

On Tuesday morning we awoke to more sunshine, had a light breakfast, packed up and were soon on the road to our next campsite on the west coast of Wales at Aberaeron.

After the recent flooding near Aberystwyth we weren't sure whether the roads would be open, but everything seemed to be pretty much back to normal (although not for the people who's houses and caravans had been destroyed sadly).

We stopped off during our journey to admire the stunning mid Wales scenery.

On the way through to Aberaeron we passed Ynys-Hir the RSPB reserve where Springwatch was being filmed this year and managed to even catch a glimpse of both Chris Packham (my birding hero!) and Michaela Strachan.  It made my day.
