Dulverton in May 2013 - In and Around Dulverton

Over the last few years May has kindly given us an early taste of summer and we were hoping that 2013 would be the same......and how lucky were we, it was stunning!

We had pre-booked 3 nights at Exmoor House CC site in Dulverton (our favourite CC site!) but extended it to 4 nights a few days before.

Unfortunately the trip from Bude to Dulverton became rather eventful.  The roads are fairly small and rural (as you would expect) but if driven well and carefully there should be no problems.....unless you meet a lorry driver in a hurry.  We did and Daisy had a lovely black mark from the kitchen window to the rear.  By the time we were able to get out to check out the damage, the lorry had driven off.  The air was blue!!!  Thankfully once we'd got to site and checked it out it was only surface damage and with the help of our friends and some T-Cut later that weekend it was all quickly sorted.

Once I'd calmed down and we'd set up properly we had some lunch before having a wander into Dulverton in the beautiful sunshine.
