South Wales - May 2013 - Three Cliffs Bay

On Sunday morning it was time to pack up and head  further west to our next campsite on the Gower.

We had researched this site and it had been on our list of 'must dos' for some time.  Having booked it in January we had been really looking forward to staying here, just for the views.  We were hoping for some good weather and a front row pitch and we were not disappointed by either.

The roads down to the site were pretty small and I guess after our 'brush' with the waggon in Dulverton we were a bit apprehensive, but all was OK ...... until we got to the campsite!!!  The lane down to the camping ground was tiny, so much so both wing mirrors had to come in and we were still touching the sides!!  Thankfully we didn't meet anyone coming in the other direction.

We booked in with the warden and we were offered either a hardstanding or grass pitch right on the front row/cliff top with the most stunning views we've ever seen from a campsite.  I knew we'd be happy here for a few nights!

We pitched up and spent the rest of the day and the evening just taking in the view.  The sunset that evening was gorgeous.
