True to form, the weather forecasters were predicting bad weather so we went prepared and packed everything from waterproofs to wellies, and hats and gloves!!! Hardly looked at any of them during the entire trip!
We left home on the Friday (Paddy's 13th birthday) in the sunshine and after a stop off at our motorhome dealer to sort out a problem with our electric step, we arrived on site just after lunch.......to more sunshine!
We had a short walk around the beautiful country park and the lake before spending the rest of the afternoon on site chilling out with Paddy.
We then had another walk around the park in the evening, when the light was lovely and the sun was going down.
