South Devon - June 2014 - On Site At Hillhead (CC)

Just a few short weeks after our Welsh trip we were on the road again.  We had originally booked the Bristol CC site (soon to close as a campsite) but a few weeks before heading off had decided that we needed the sea (although we live in Cornwall!) so changed our booking to the CC site between Brixham and Kingswear.....and it turned out to be a fabulous decision!

After a longer than normal journey of three hours from home, due to a sudden road closure, we pitched up at tea time, after nabbing the last hardstanding, and had a BBQ that evening.

It was a full moon that night and the views over the campsite to the sea were wonderful.
