From Porthgwidden beach we made our way up to the headland to the RNLI 'look out' and Chapel of St Nicholas that overlooks St Ives Bay. Whilst up there the heavens opened, and with no shelter we walked back to the campsite in the rain!!!!

Our Route Back to Ayr Holiday Park, St Ives
Instead of taking the short route back to the campsite through the steep streets we headed back via Porthgwidden Beach, where the views over St Ives Bay and Godrevy lighthouse were stunning in the December sunshine.
