For our March trip we decided to stay fairly local again so had pre-booked a site just outside Padstow, one we'd not stayed on before.
We arrived at lunchtime on the Friday afternoon and had been allocated a really big hardstanding pitch. Our friends turned up shortly afterwards and had been allocated the pitch next to us!
After a quick bite to eat we all took the footpath from the campsite towards Padstow, just to check it out to see how muddy it was (thankfully after 2 whole weeks without any rain in Cornwall it was fine!). During the walk there were lovely views of the Camel estuary from the fields.
Later on that evening we took the same footpath further down into Padstow itself for our evening meal and a few pints. The taxi back up the hill was a Godsend!!!!
