Dorset - September 2014 - Charmouth

After three fantastic days in Corfe we were on the move again to our final campsite in Charmouth.  We'd not stayed at Wood Farm since we lived back in Newbury and had a caravan so the re-visit was a long time coming!!  It's a beautiful site, just outside Charmouth right on the A35.  The only thing we didn't like was the road noise, when you're not used to it it can become annoying!  We had a lovely pitch overlooking the whole campsite and the surrounding countryside.

After pitching up and having some lunch we walked into Charmouth to meet up with my Dad and Step-Mum for the afternoon and evening.  We had a wander down to the beach where we found a film crew and lots of security staff!  Apparently they were filming some ITV drama called Tea and Sympathy (no idea!!!).  For some reason the pubs in Charmouth were both closed that afternoon so Dad drove us out to Seatown where we sat outside the Anchor Inn overlooking Golden Cap and the beach.  We had our evening meal with them back in Charmouth that evening.
