We pitched up and had a quick bite to eat and then walked into Truro, a lovely 4-mile walk along the old railway line. We spent the afternoon in Truro and had our evening meal there before returning to the campsite on the bus!

Cornwall - May 2017 - Truro
We hadn't booked anywhere for our next 2 nights but felt sure we'd be OK for a pitch at Carnon Downs near Truro as it was still out of season. We arrived to find that most of the hard standings were full! They finally offered us one tucked away off the main site, nice and quiet!
We pitched up and had a quick bite to eat and then walked into Truro, a lovely 4-mile walk along the old railway line. We spent the afternoon in Truro and had our evening meal there before returning to the campsite on the bus!
True to form, we had one good day and one bad day weather-wise and Monday was the 'bad' day. It was overcast and drizzly but it didn't stop us getting out and about. We walked down to the local garden centre for a mooch and a coffee before heading down to Devoran for a walk along the creek.
We spent that evening in Bessy chilling out!
