We had booked a site just outside the lovely seaside town of Budleigh Salterton on the Devon coast, called Pooh Cottage. A site that was totally new to us and what a find!
Beautifully kept site, fantastic warden and a short walk from both the local pub and the town/beach.
We arrived on the Friday afternoon, pitched up and spent the afternoon getting our bearings and planning the next few days. Just across the lane from the campsite was a gorgeous bluebell wood. We had a BBQ on site that evening and then wandered down to test out the beer and cider at the local pub!!
