Winter in St Ives - February 2013 - St Ives Coastal Path

After another wild and windy night Saturday morning was glorious and although still very windy you could actually feel some warmth from the sun in sheltered areas!!!

We all had breakfast and got into our walking boots ready for a 2 hour walk along the coastal path from the site.

Although it was very muddy in places (up to our ankles at some points!) the views made up for the terrain.

Again the afternoon was spent with Paddy chilling out in the camper before heading into St Ives for the evening.  Sadly on Sunday morning it was time to pack up and head back home.  However, we will be back in St Ives again at Christmas as we've already booked our pitch!!

We are now planning our March trip so watch this space!!!

Fab pics Sharon, it's amazing what a bit of sunshine and blue sky does for the scenery.

Hi there, just found your blog, great photos.
We are a couple of Kiwis who get away in our caravan (with our Birman cat Muffy) whenever we can. We attend monthly w/end caravan club rallies, and now we are retired take longer trips throughout the year. Have recently spent 3 weeks travelling around the lower North Island, staying at places not previously explored. Currently we are living in our caravan full time over the last few months while we await our new home being built.
Thought you may be interested to know that we visited Bude and St Ives when we visited UK several years ago!

Hi Jenny & Robin
Thanks for checking out our blog.
Your life sounds fab!
My Step-Mum is currently over in NZ visiting my Step-Brother for 6 weeks and loving it. I have a feeling your weather maybe slightly better than ours at present!!!
Hope you enjoyed our lovely part of the UK when you visited?
Happy travelling and good luck with the new home!
