From Keyhaven the cycle path took us into Milford-on-Sea (the village closest to our campsite). We managed to 'park' the bikes and trailer up and enjoy lunch sat in a pub beer garden before heading back to the campsite for the rest of the day.

New Forest - Lymington to Keyhaven - July 2011
On leaving Lymington we took the new cycle path to Keyhaven that runs along the coast and salt marshes, with views across to Hurst Castle.

On Wednesday morning we woke up to more sunshine, although there were a few threatening clouds about! After breakfast we once again decided to have a day out on the bikes.
We biked into Lymington (not recommended on the busy B road but we made it in one piece!). We spent the morning mooching around the little streets near the old quay area and watching the boats.

We were on the move again on Tuesday. Again, just another short trip - this time to a site just outside Lymington. After pitching up we spent the day on site chilling out in the camper.
New Forest - Brockenhurst - July 2011
After being out on the bikes all day Monday we wandered Paddy around Aldridge Hill - just a short walk from the campsite. The evening reflections were lovely.

We took a route through the forest and back to the campsite along the Rhinefield Drive, where we saw the Rhinefield House Hotel (not sure that we could afford to stay there!).

During our ride Michael's pedal became loose so we had to have a stop for running repairs. Paddy was happy lazing around waiting!
