On return to the Caravan Club site the wardens greeted us with home-made cakes left over from their jubilee party they'd held on site that afternoon. Maybe we looked like we needed them? Even Paddy got one!!!

Wild Wales Tour 2012 - Return to Chirk
The return journey was pretty tough going (especially for Michael with Paddy on the back of his bike!). We didn't actually realise that we had biked 8 miles into Llangollen and that we had to bike 8 miles back!!! Thankfully the sun had come out and it was a glorious return journey, with fabulous views over the countryside. We took our time!
