Cornwall 2013 - Newquay

It was a bit misty and drizzly when we got up on Thursday morning but there was no way we were wasting our last full day away so we togged up in waterproofs and walked into Newquay.  We had a short wander around the town and harbour before having lunch in the new Wetherspoons near the harbour.

After lunch we strolled back to the campsite where we spent the afternoon relaxing.  That evening we had a fabulous Indian takeaway delivered to the site - highly recommended!

We headed home on Friday morning, with the intention of going to the motorhome show in Shepton Mallet on Saturday but decided against it due to heavy rain.  It was probably a bit dangerous looking at new motorhomes anyway!

It's not long until our next booked trip.  We're off to Ilfracombe, North Devon in a few weeks time for a long weekend.
